Blog! Such a simple concept, yet so vexing.

You’d think setting of a blog web site and getting the code working would be the hard part. No. Instead, the writing is the killer.

Not that I don’t have ideas of things I could write- just the opposite. I have too many ideas. Too many hobbies; too many interest; too many (not so earth shattering) insights.

My problem is, as a graphic designer, I’ve been trained that every piece of art or document should follow a theme. Articles should relate to one another, creating an brand identity.

Blah! My screen is a virtual blank sheet of paper taunting me.

To heck with a “message” or “theme”. For now- this is going to be a blog dump. Anything that strikes my fancy is going here- organization be damned. I’m going to push though the “blogger’s block” by posting less that perfect post until a theme emerges.

I'll be honest; I have not had a personal web page in a couple of years. Even then, past attempts were decent, but nothing fantastic. I was thinking that now days with content management system like a blog, that things would be easier. But alas, for a non-script kitty like me; it is just as confusing to me now as it was back then. So please pardon my mess while I acquaint myself with the 21st century.
